APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

The Board of Directors of NGO Regulatory Authority wishes to announce the appointment of Mr. Voice Mhone as its Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Voice Mhone was the first ever Chief Executive Officer and Registrar of Non-Governmental Organizations Board of Malawi. He led the establishment and functioning of the Board and transformed it into the NGO Regulatory Authority. He brings more than two decades of experience, expertise, and exposure in NGO work. He previously served as Chairperson of the Council for Non-Governmental Organizations in Malawi and was the founding Trustee of the Millennium Challenge Account Malawi, which contributed to the transformation of power generation.

Mr. Mhone holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Malawi, The Polytechnic.
